Garden Update

I might have mentioned to you that I was nervous the summer sun and heat would kill my garden... well, it did about a month ago. I plan on replanting when the temps are consistently below 100. Our backyard gets sun all day, so they didn't really have a chance. I planted some bushes when I planted the garden. Hopefully, they'll offer some protection for future gardens once they get bigger. From everything I started, I got some great snap peas, a few DELICIOUS strawberries, a few green beans, lots of small tomatoes, a few bad tasting bell peppers, and some herbs. All my normal sized tomatoes were eaten by birds as soon as they got ripe. The squash flowered a few times, then died.
