From a message I sent in the middle of October:
We were talking about Moses and the plagues God sent to Egypt this week. When we got to the part where their animals died, I was trying to explain to them why all the animals dying was a big deal and one thing I brought up was that they wouldn't have any meat to eat.
"They wouldn't have meat from cows or goats..." then one of the kids chimed in "Yeah, like the puppy dogs too." :)
The story had 3 dead animals in the picture and one was a dog. So that's where the idea came from.
