Baxter's dog

We wanted to get Baxter a companion before we started having kids. We totally don't think of him as Baxter's dog; it's just a funny thing to say. We're his foster family for now b/c he's not a puppy and has a background that we're not sure about. He's trying out our family for a few days and if all goes well, we'll have a new dog. He was classified a special needs case b/c he's very timid and has other possible issues. I'll let you know how it goes.
