I scanned my card at the coupon machine earlier today and received a $5 off a $20 purchase so I went in again to take advantage of a haircare deal since I'm almost out of shampoo. Now you will know that I'm picky about my shampoo.

At this point I realized I had misread the coupon I came in to use and it didn't apply to my purchase. So I went ahead and finished the transaction b/c for what I got, it was still a good deal.
