Okay... I'm in pain :( (don't worry this is a laugh with me moment)
I hardly ever cook with hot peppers and I used fresh serranos in the pinto beans I made. I didn't realize I should have worn gloves when cutting it, so now my hands are burning. It's been 2 hours since I cut that pepper. Well you live and learn.
I was able to add two more projects to my list:
-HEB had a 3 lb bag of onions on sale. So I chopped all of the onions, divided them into 1/2 cup baggies, and froze them for later use.
-Cook a package of bacon. Part of it went to the beans and part of it is being saved for BLTs. Alex is so excited to smell bacon in his house. This is a rare treat for us.
